Founding as Westfälische Lokomotiv- und Maschinen-Industrie GmbH by Karl Reuschling, sen. (General Manager1914 - 1941), the workshop was also under contract to Krauss-Maffei AG, Munich, at this time. |

| 1973 | Expansion of production to include engine replacement on diesel locomotives |
| 1977 | First equipping of a diesel locomotive with radio remote control |
| 1984 | First equipping of an industrial locomotive with a train control developed in-house |
| 1985 | First equipping of an industrial locomotive with a train control developed in-house with intrinsically safe design |
| 1989 | 75-year anniversary of the company’s founding |
| 1990 | 3 locomotives for hire on long-term lease with full service |
| 2000 | The family company enters into its fourth generation |
| 2001 | Engine replacement on an industrial locomotive with a gas engine |
| 2003 | Expansion of production in the area of train radio and train protection systems |
| 2006 | First Reuschling trade fair appearance at InnoTrans in Berlin |
| 2008 | Founding of a company for the manufacture and sale of cable winch systems |
